The police in Kano and a human rights organizations on Thursday, August 20 rescued a 55-year-old man who had been chained by his father for 30 years at Rogo Local Government of the state.
Similar incident had occurred a few days after another man, Ibrahim Lawan who was chained for 15 years by his father in his apartment in Sheka quarters within Kano metropolis, was rescued by the police.
