PPPRA deletes fuel increase template, NNPC say no increase in depot price this month

The official website of the Petroleum Products Pricing Agency (PPPRA) was on Friday edited and the new Premium Motor Spirit (PMS) petrol pricing template of N212.61 per litre removed from the site.

The action followed the outrage from Nigerians who took to social media condemn the government over the hike.

Meanwhile, the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC), has said that there is no increment in the ex-depot price of petrol this month.

NNPC made this known in a short statement released on Friday morning against the now deleted template released by the Petroleum Products Pricing Regulatory Agency that the new price of petrol had reached N212.6 per litre.

“#NNPC Insists No Increase in Ex-Depot Price of PMS in March,” it tweeted hours after the PPPRA released the now deleted template.
