Sad Breaking News: Popular ‘Ekwueme’ singer, Osinachi is dead (Video)

Popular Nigerian Gospel singer, Sister Osinachi Nwachukwu has is dead.

According to reports, the singer who has been on life support for the past two months was confirmed dead on Friday. The cause of death was said to be throat cancer.

Sister Sinach who sang in Igbo was known for her angelic voice and the famous track, Ekwueme.

Right through her career as a gospel singer, she has featured in some popular gospel songs like “Nara Ekele” by Pastor Paul Enenche (Dunamis, Abuja), “Ekwueme” by Prospa Ochimana, and “You no dey use me play” by Emma.

She was also a minister of God and producer of Christian worship music.

Her last release was in September last year, when she released Ikem, God of Power.

Her family is yet to issue a statement on her death as the time of this report.

She is survived by her husband Peter and four children. She was the twin sister of “Amarachi Grace Eze, who is also a powerful singer
