Ahead of the All Progressive Congress (APC) primary election scheduled to take place today, Monday in Edo state, the committee set up to oversee the exercise have arrived the state.
The committee chaired by Governor Hope Uzodinma of Imo state sat for a meeting on Sunday and the photo was shared on Twitter.
On sighting the photo, the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the Nigerians in Diaspora Commission (NIDCOM), Abike Dabiri-Erewa expressed dismay that the party did not deem it fit to include even ‘a single woman’ in the committee.
She wrote: “Na wa o . APC. Not a single woman ? Haba !!!!! @OfficialAPCNg .!!!!!”
Abike Dabiri-Erewa is former member of the Nigeria Federal House of Representatives representing Ikorodu Constituency in Lagos State. She was the Chairman of the House Committee on Media & Publicity while she was at the National Assembly.
