The family of Nigerian Rapper Palisade Ogunka popularly known as Sky B has debunked the reports that the artist is dead.
It was widely reported on social media yesterday that Sky B who hails from Rukpakuruchi in Obio-Akpor Local Government Area of Rivers State had been pronounced dead yesterday at the Federal Medical Centre, Owerri after suffering a heart attack.
In a telephone interview with correspondent Nonso Isiguzo, Sky B’s immediate younger sister, Faith Ogunka revealed that her brother is alive. She stated that the rumour started after his brother acted a role in a movie where he passed on.
Miss Ogunka who said that the rumour of Sky B’s death caused their mother to have high blood pressure, urged the public to disregard the report.
Meanwhile, some are beginning to wonder why Sky B has not responded to the news report about his dead since yesterday that it went viral, raising suspicion that the rumour could have also has started from the inner circle of the rapper in a bid to draw attention to the rapper who has been out of public notice for a very long time.
