Comedian and actor, AY Makun has said it is slave mentality for people to promote the works of foreign artists for free but then go on to ask local artists to pay before they can extend similar gestures.
He state this in a tweet he shared on Saturday December 12. The tweet reads,
”Slavery mentality is when you are excited to promote & project foreign artistes who don’t even know you for free, & then ask your own local artistes to pay you. The only reason they became famous, was because their own people projected them for the rest of the world to notice”
