Cynthia Jonathan, a graduate of Taraba State University, was crushed to death by a truck loaded with shaft sand that lost control and rammed into the busy Mile 6 Market in Jalingo.
The incident occurred on Friday, June 27, 2025, when the driver lost control of the truck due to a tyre burst while it was at high speed.
The vehicle veered off the road and crashed into the crowded marketplace, k!lling the young lady, who was in her pos stand.
After completing her national youth service program two years ago, she operated a point-of-sale business in the market.
The deceased was laid to rest on Saturday, June 28.
