A soldier said to be drunk have reportedly shot a Customs officer dead around Seme boarder in Badagry area of Lagos state.
The incident which took place on Wednesday night has triggered tension in the area.
The soldier, according to residents, was said to be under the influence of alcohol.
“Fears are currently mounting on possible breakdown of law and order in this area,” a source said. “It’s possible that the soldier was under the influence of alcohol because no one expected him to behave in such a strange manner.”
