Former US President Donald Trump is likely to return to social media after over a year with the expected launch of his own network, ‘Truth Social’.
The media outlet cites an online that
Truth Social’s chief product officer, Billy B. on Friday held a Q&A session with people who had already been invited to test out the app. When asked by one of the Beta-testers when Truth Social would be available for the general public, the executive reportedly said that Truth Social’s team was “currently set for release in the Apple App store for Monday Feb. 21.”
The launch would restore Trump’s presence on social media more than a year after he was banned from Twitter, Facebook and YouTube following the Jan. 6, 2021, attack on the U.S. Capitol by his supporters, after he was accused of posting messages inciting violence.
