Two arrested with stolen motorcycles and charms in Niger community

The Anti-Drugs Consumption and Crime Control Unit (ADC) apprehended two suspected criminals terrorising the Lapai community in Niger State. 

On Wednesday night, June 25, 2025, the suspects, identified as Hassan Yahaya (19) and Abdullahi Ismail (20), both natives of Bida Local Government Area of Niger State, were arrested while attempting to flee the community with two stolen motorcycles. 

During interrogation, the suspects reportedly confessed to the crime. 

Items recovered from them include two Bajaj motorcycles, a keypad phone, a talisman, several rings, an ATM card, a lighter, a wire earphone, and a nasal inhaler.
