Two House of Reps Members from Imo defects from AA to APC

As Imo politicians continue to decamp from different political parties to aligned with the ruling party in the state, two House of Representatives members from Imo have defected from the Action Alliance (AA) to the All Progressives Congress (APC).

The lawmakers are Uju Chima Kingsley and Pascal Chigozie Obi.

It has been a decamping galore from Imo politicians since the supreme court sacked former governor Emeka Ihedioha of PDP and ordered the swearing in of Hope Uzodinma of APC.

The Speaker, Femi Gbajabiamila, read a letter from the members announcing their defection at the plenary on Thursday.

The defectors later addressed journalists in company with the Organising Secretary of the APC, Emma Ibediro; and the Imo State governorship candidate of the AA in the 2019 general election, Uche Nwosu.
