A couple who defiantly went ahead to have crowded wedding ceremony on Saturday, May 16th, at the Christ Apostolic Church in Calabar, were captured in a video as they took to their heels when members of the Cross Rivers state COVID-19 taskforce arrived at the church.
The state government banned public gatherings as part of efforts to stop the spread of COVID-19.
The video shared online shows the couple and their guests scampering through the doors of the church moment the task force team stormed the church service.
