Recently the video of some Asian school pupils learning the Igbo language surfaced online with many reopening the debate on the importance of teaching the kids our native language.
On sighting the video, Actress Stella Damasus recalled how she had been taken less seriously when she talked about the need for Igbo people to teach their kids their language. She also recalled how a UNESCO report reveals that the Igbo Language will go into extinction in 2050.
