A Nigerian man has been amazed at the kind of response he got from Nigerians after he took to his social media page to call for help to enable him pay up the hospital bills of his wife who has been held up at the hospital since after given birth.
The man took to Twitter to narrate how his wife gave birth to their baby through a Cesarean section which they did not plan for and since she was delivered of the baby in November 6th 2019, the hospital has held them and refused to discharge them until the balance of N170,000 is paid.
Taking his predicament to Twitter, he wrote:
“Please help me Nigerians my wife and child have been held up in the hospital since November 6th 2019 bcos we are unable to settle the Medical Bills shr gave birth through C.S which we didn’t plan towards it..I’m a Keke Napep Driver I’m pleading on you all to help me please

After he made this post, Nigerians began responding, sending their donations to the account number provided while he gave full account of every dime that he received. He shared screenshots of the alerts as they came and his account balance.
Before the end of the day, he was able to pay N110,000 out of the bill. He shared pictures at every stage. Some people sent other gifts to his newborn and wife including one who promised to pay his son salary for the next 1 year.
As at the time of this post, he stated that he has now raised a total of N849,800.
