When we are inaugurated by May 2019, we’ll run with people centred policies – Uche Nwosu

The governorship candidate of the Action Alliance in Imo State, Ugwumba Uche Nwosu, has embarked on another phase of consultation with critical stakeholders in the State across the 27 LGAs. This phase of consultation is meant to keep these critical stakeholders abreast of recent political arrangements in the State, especially, as it affects the platform on which he is prosecuting his governorship ambition.

Flagging off the consultation parley in Nwangele LGA of the State yesterday, the seasoned technocrat thanked these leaders for standing by him all these years and appealed to them to keep the faith as he is confident that with the continued support of the masses and with God on his side, victory is guaranteed.

He pledged to continue with the developmental initiatives of His Excellency Owelle Rochas Okorocha, consolidate on his people centered policies and make corrections where there might be need for corrections.

In his words; “The people are the drivers of this governorship project and when we are inaugurated on May 29th, 2019, we shall hit the ground running with the people at the center of all our policies and programs.”

Present at the consultation forum are President-generals of Town Unions, political leaders from different political Parties, Market union leaders, youth leaders, women leaders, representatives of professional bodies, labour unions, traditional rulers and respected opinion moulders across different communities.

Different stakeholders who spoke at Nwangele and Nkwere legs of the consultation forum reiterated their support for the project. They described Ugwumba Uche Nwosu as the smartest investment Imo youths can make for a great future.

A business tycoon, philanthropist and former Transition Committee Chairman of Nwangele LGA, High Chief Clifford Ikechukwu Orjiako assured that the people of Nwangele are irreversibly committed to the victory of Ugwumba Uche Nwosu and all Action Alliance candidates for the 2nd March, 2019 governorship and State Assembly elections.

The consultation train is expected to visit every LGA in the State and will precede the formal flag-off of the governorship campaign.
