Woman pretends to be customer, kidnaps two siblings in Benue

A woman who pretended to be a customer has kidnapped two siblings in Benue. This happened in front of their house close to St Peter’s Catholic Church in Makurdi, Benue State by an unknown woman.

Philomena Kpaakpa, and Benedict Kpaakpa, the kids, 4 years and 2 years respectively were abducted on Sunday, September 24, 2023.

According to Comr. Wonov Tersoo Felix, the woman had given a N500 note to the children after he had bought N50 soya milk from them but there was no change.

The children were asked by the woman to follow her to a nearby shop to buy something else and give them their balance.

That was the last time the siblings were seen.

“A lady made away with two children, Philomena Kpaakpa, age; 4 years, and Benedict Kpaakpa, age; 2years. This incident took place today close to St Peter’s Catholic Church at their resident house in the early hours of 24 September 2023,” Felix explained.

“The lady came to buy soya milk in front of their house she gave them #500 for #50 soya milk and there was no change so she asked them to follow her to a nearby shop so that she could buy something and give them change

“Shortly after, their mother came from morning mass and couldn’t find her children. Please help the family share this information even to the security agency that works at various checking points so that they will be on alert in case they see anybody traveling with this kind of kids.”
