The ruling party, the All Progressives Congress (APC) has congratulated former Nigerian ambassador to the United States, George Obiozor for emerging the president elect of Ohanaeze Ndigbo socio-cultural group.
Obiozor polled a total of 304 votes to emerge winner in an election that held at the Dan Anyiam Stadium, Owerri on Sunday, January 10.
Reacting to Obiozor’s victory, APC wrote on its official Twitter page:
“We congratulate Prof. George Obiozor on his election as the new President-General of the apex Igbo socio-cultural organisation, Ohanézè Ndígbo and wish the new executive a successful tenure.“
