A middle-aged Lebanese national identified as Simo, has been arrested for allegedly sleeping with 14 under-aged girls in the Abattoir Community, a suburb of Jos, the Plateau State Capital.
The Lebanese man who was said to have lured the minors to his resident was accused of impregnating seven of them.
His arrest followed a complaint by the family of an 11-year-old girl who he allegedly molested.
AIT reported that the complaint led to the discovery of his other victims in the community. The situation triggered protest by community members who stormed the Police Station, calling for justice for the victims.
One of the angry youths, who gave his name only as John said, “We have an issue about a Lebanese man using girls of age 10-13 to act pornography. He was arrested yesterday (Thursday) but now he is nowhere to be found and the policemen are saying nothing about it.
“The police have refused to release the girls in question. So there is uproar around the station because the youths insist that the girls must be released and that the man must not go free,” PUNCH reports.
One of the protesters, Abigail Haruna said, “This thing has been going on for almost 20 years. I grew up in Abattoir here and I have been hearing about it. This time around, about 14 girls between the ages of 10 to 11 are involved. A Lebanese man in Abattoir here used to sexually molest the girls, one that is 11 is pregnant. This should not be allowed to fester.”
Another protester, Esther Emmanuel added, “Since when I was little, I heard about this man that he uses little girls to do blue film but we never took any action but thank God this case came up yesterday (Thursday). Parents of the girls went to the Police station to report.
“It is really annoying that this thing has been happening but we never did anything about it. None of these girls are up to 15 years. Two of the girls are pregnant, one has HIV, this is annoying. The problem is that when it happens, you will not hear anything again, the issue will just die off like that.
“The parents are left with their children, they will be asked to go and take care of their children and will even be blamed for refusing to talk to their children. If we go to their country, will they allow that? We want justice to be served. The man was arrested but now what we hear is that he has been released.”
They were, however, repelled with teargas from armed policemen stationed around the community.
The Plateau State Police Command spokesman, ASP, Gabriel Ubah, who confirmed the arrest of the suspect said investigation is ongoing with the case transferred to the State Criminal Investigation Department.
Just hear what people are say about a man the have been sleeping with underage children between the age 10 and 13 of age using them for blue film and even impregnating them for over 20 yeas ago and his conduct was not reported to the law enforcement agencies the parents of these he has been using just fold their arms and look seeing the Lebanese Man distroying the lives of their kids 20 years? Please pamit me to say this: Any of the parents their girls have been involving this act need to be question by the law enforcement egencies.

Is it the LAW ENFORCEMENT OFFICERS THAT THE CASE WAS NOT REPORTED TO FOR OVER 20 YEARS AGO OF IT EXISTED
Or
THEIR THE PARENTS OF THE CHILDREN, THAT FOLD THEIR ARMS LOOKING AT THE LEBANESE MAN DISTROYING THE LIVES OF THEIR CHILDREN FOR OVER 20 YEARS?
Let’s think about it before we start blaming everything on the law enforcement officers.
