Women in Ngor Okpala Local Government area of Imo state went on a protest today over the alleged plot by Governor Hope Uzodinma to rig the bye-election scheduled to take place on Saturday.
The women are also demanding the explanation over the killing of Noel Chigbu, a business man allegedly shot dead by soldiers at Amakohia flyover in Owerri in May, 2021.
According to the women, the government of the All Progressives Congress (APC) has brought nothing but pain and sorrows to Ngor Okpala.
They also advised the electorates to reject the governor’s money, claiming it has been dedicated to Alaogbaga shrine.
