No crisis in Ajah, we raided black spots – Lagos Police

The Public Relations Officer of the Lagos State Police command, Adejobi Olumuyiwa has countered the reports of crisis in Ajah area of the state.

There were reports of tension in Ajah after police officers stormed the area on Sunday morning on a raid. Residents said some ‘bad boys’ who live in the area clashed with the police in the process.

Taking to Twitter, Lagos Police spokesperson said there was no crisis in the area. He wrote:

No crisis in Ajah as speculated on the social media. The police moved into Ajah area today to raid some identified black spots. Some suspects have been arrested with incriminating and stolen items. Residents are urged to be calm.”
