The publisher of Expressiveinfo.com, Ngozi Clara Opara has declared her interest to run for a seat in the Imo State House of Assembly.
Hon. Ngozi Clara Opara who is a former Councillor of Obi-Mbieri is hoping to represent Mbaitoli Constituency in the State House of Assembly via the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA).
In her declaration speech shared on Facebook on Friday, she wrote:
“I will give Ndi Mbaitoli a People-oriented REPRESENTATION.
“I will give Youths and Women sustainable empowerment LEGISLATION.
“I will sponsor bills that will protect Imo Workers from ‘Work No Pay’.
“I will sponsor bills that will protect Imo Pensioners from ‘Retirement Without Gratuity and Pension’.
“Imo State House of Assembly needs lawmakers that have the courage, skills, training, vision and experience to navigate parliamentary politics.
“A weak or docile House of Assembly is often a result of election of untrained representatives who have no idea how to use legislation to improve the lives of citizens.
“I have the vision, skills, training, experience, courage and charisma to make sure Imo State House of Assembly serves the needs of Imolites.
