IPOB: Simon Ekpa declares end of sit-at-home, says no election in Igboland in 2023

Biafran Agitator, Simon Ekpa has declared the end of the five days sit-at-home which started last week.

Ekpa is one of the disciples of the leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), Nnamdi Kanu who has been on trial and in custody of the Department of State Services (DSS) since he was smuggled out of Kenya last year.

Ekpa and his group have been behind the controversial sit-at-home orders being issued which IPOB’s spokesman, Emma Powerful has always kicked against.

Taking to Twitter on Tuesday, Ekpa reminded his followers that the 5-day sit-at-home wraps up on Wednesday, December 14. He wrote:

“Biafrans remember that tomorrow is our last sit at home. Please, do not fall victim of Nigeria terrorist state. Our civil disobedience is the highest weapon we have at the moment.
14th Dec.will mark the end to Biafra historic sit at home which has, & will prepare you for 2023″

In a series of tweets which Ekpa shared on the same day, he insisted that there will not be election in Igboland in 2023. He also called out Labour Party’s presidential candidate, Peter Obi and some of his supports.
